I am very proud to be a member of the Deliciously Naughty Writers. These ladies are a blast to party with, and all of them are wonderful, talented, dedicated writers.
Who are the Deliciously Naughty Writers? Well, read on!
Anna J. Evans came back to her true love of writing fiction after a decade or so as a poorly paid actor and playwrite. After working Off-off-Broadway, in a few C-movie films in Hollywood, and then becoming a stay at home mom-writer to three children (ages 2-12), writing paranormal erotic adventures seems like tame work.
She's written contemporary and fantasy erotic romances, but the paranormal is currently her favorite genre. She's been awarded multiple Recommended Reads from review sites like Fallen Angel and TwoLips Reviews, but her favorite feedback always comes from fans.
Anna lives in Arkansas with her Air Force husband, her real-life romantic hero, and their three kids.

My second grade student teacher who read my short story about the blacksmith's daughter who is love with her dad's apprentice and didn't call the state to report my parents for child abuse--for obviously letting their 8 year old have access to romantic literature.
Name one book you've read and thought, "Damn! I wish I'd written
that?"
Just one? I have that feeling all the time, lol. I guess...it would have to be....the Ugly series by Scott Westerfeld. I love the futuristic young adult feel and how twisted the characters become by the third book.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I think...Italy. In Cinque Terre, these five beautiful little villages right on the ocean. Gorgeous. And they have vineyards and limoncello and great seafood--three of my favorite things.

My other Naughties. I get to hang out with some of the coolest, most hard working, creative, and naughty ladies writing erotic romance today. I feel like a very lucky girl :).
Kelly Maher has spent time in eleven countries, traveled all over the United States, at one point could name all 206 bones in the human body and can still tell if a femur is from the right or left side of the body. A multi-published author, Chicago-native Kelly now spends her time in the wilds of Iowa putting her Masters of Science in Library
and Information Science to good use, knitting, collecting books for her own private library and exploring the world of erotic fiction in her writing.

My English teacher from my sophomore year of high school. She tried
pushing me to do more creative writing, but I was a stubborn
so-and-so. When I decided later to actually give writing a shot, I
remembered her faith in me and knew I could do it.
Name one book you've read and thought, "Damn! I wish I'd written that?"
Hmmm...I honestly can't remember any book I've thought about in that
way. I'm sure I've thought it at some point or another, but I just
can't remember any book in particular?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I think for a small portion of the year, I'd like to live on the west
coast of Ireland. It's so beautiful there.

I love being associated with the other DNW'ers. This is a wonderful group of women who are incredibly supportive. We each have our own distinctive styles, but we work great together as a team!
Sherrill Quinn grew up in Northeast Ohio in a small town on the banks of the Cuyahoga River. After high school she spent four years in Tennessee, then moved back home (because, you know, parents can never really get rid of their kids), and in 2000 moved to Arizona. After just two years she took a job as Vice President of Human Resources, but her love of writing was always there. Routinely working 55-60 hour weeks--which sometimes morphed into 65-70 hour weeks--she determined that it wasn't worth it. The career, the great salary wasn't worth the stress.
The last 10 months of that job coincided with her rediscovery of the joy of writing. In February 2005 she took an online "How to Write Erotic Romance" class, and she was hooked. By the end of August that year she decided to quit her job, handed in her resignation, and started writing. Since February of 2006 she's had 19 books published (novellas and short stories in anthologies) and has several more on the way.

There isn't any one person. It's been years of reading and enjoying books, and finally finding my niche in erotic romance. Some of the authors I admire and have been inspired by include Jayne Ann Krentz, Angela Knight, and Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Name one book you've read and thought, "Damn! I wish I'd written that?"
Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux. Just an amazing story.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
If I could live anywhere in the world, I'd be right where I am--Tucson, Arizona.
What do you like best about being a Deliciously Naughty writer?
The camaraderie and spirit of friendship we have. It's an amazing thing--especially considering that only two of us have met in real life.
Read an excerpt from "Infiltration", Book One in Sherrill's Praetorians series!
Read an excerpt from Sherrill's "Choosing Madison", part of the Seasons of Seduction anthology from Ellora's Cave!
Sierra Dafoe
Sierra Dafoe has been writing as long as she can remember -- or longer, actually -- and is delighted to be able to do so professionally. She also feels really weird talking about herself in the third person! For more details, see her bio page.

Okay, honestly? Stephen King. I swear to God. Maybe it's partly because I used to live six blocks from him, although I never met the man. I don't know. I do know I had a really weird dream with him in it once -- this was about four years before I started writing with any intent to publish (I've been writing since I was six). In it, we somehow reached this deal where I had to help him quit drinking and he, in turn, would help me become a professional writer. This was a full decade before On Writing came out, and I had no idea the man was an alcoholic. Weird, huh? :p
Name one book you've read and thought, "Damn! I wish I'd written that?"
Oh, man! Where to start? Fantasy: Guy Gavriel Kay's Tigana. And Lloyd Alexander's Prydain series. Romance: Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dance With the Devil. Historical fiction: Mary Renault's Bull From the Sea (for anyone who thinks m/m erotica is new, think again!) Sci-fi: Dune. Gotta be Dune.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
Augh! Just one? Horse ranch in Wyoming. With a great view of the mountains!
What do you like best about being a Deliciously Naughty writer?
Being part of a group who are just as nutty as I am! LOL! It's comforting to know I'm not the only one.

December Quinn likes to write romance with a witty edge, lots of action, and smart, strong heroes who love smart, strong women. She currently lives in England with her husband and their two young daughters.
She also writes urban fantasy as Stacia Kane.

why:
Oh, I don't think there's one particular person. My Mom was always a big reader and I picked that up from her. I had a few teachers who liked the stories and essays I wrote in school, too. But really, I always just loved to write, and I always wanted to do it.
Name one book you've read and thought, "Damn! I wish I'd written
that?"
Wow, that's a really tough one. Mark Henry's "Happy Hour of the Damned" is one. So are Jeff Lindsay's "Dexter" books. And in romance specifically I think almost anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon/Kinley MacGregor or Candace Hern.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I wish I knew! Right now the hubs and I are trying to decide this, and it's not easy.
What do you like best about being a Deliciously Naughty writer?
Getting to hang out with you, Anna, Sherrill, Kelly, and Christine!
